What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is a way of becoming more aware and present with experiences from moment to moment. It is a way of being in your body, aware of your thoughts and emotions. It is learning to respond with less judgment and reactivity, with more kindness and gentleness toward yourself and others. Mindfulness can help you to move from living on autopilot to reconnecting with living a more intentional, meaningful and ethical life.
The origins of mindfulness are from Buddhist traditions taught in Asia for over two thousand years. However, you don't need to identify as Buddhist to experience the benefits of practicing mindfulness.
