About Olga
My goal is to help you feel more balanced, grounded, and to live with more ease & authenticity.
My approach is compassionate, nurturing and direct. I believe that effective therapy involves meeting life's challenges with curiosity, kindness and compassion. We will navigate this together. I welcome diversity in my practice, including all races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, religions, body sizes and abilities. While I'm based in San Francisco, telehealth (video and phone sessions) allows me to support folks residing throughout the state. I have a special interest in supporting young adults adjust to full adulthood. This is a unique time in a person's life. Additionally, I have extensive training and experience with supporting individuals struggling with eating disorders and other food related challenges, such as:
~ Overeating ~ Emotional eating ~ Using food to cope with difficulties ~ Restrictive eating ~ Over exercising ~ Body image A personal and professional interest of mine is mindfulness meditation practices. I am trained as a mindfulness-based stress reduction teacher, Mindful Schools facilitator, and mindfulness based behavior change facilitator. I offer mindfulness training sessions to individuals and groups. |
I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #80562 with over 15 years of experience providing therapy services to adult and young adult clients.
I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis on addictions and mental disorders from the University of California, San Diego. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on health psychology from Santa Clara University.
As part of my professional development, I seek ongoing training and continuing education opportunities.
I feel incredibly passionate about this work and am humbled by the people with whom I get to connect through psychotherapy.
