SF Therapist for Young Adults and Teens

Therapy for Young Adults and Teens

Adolescence and young adulthood (ages 13-26) are crucial periods in a young person’s life, filled with rapid brain development, individuation and learning to make life-impacting decisions. I enjoy the opportunity to support young people in this process. During therapy, teens and young adults learn about emotional awareness and coping skills. Additionally, each young person's individuality and resiliency is explored.

Some challenges that could transpire for teens and young adults include:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Risky behavior
  • Self-injury
  • Eating disorders
  • Drug/alcohol misuse
  • Family conflict
  • Academic challenges
  • Peer difficulties
  • Life transitions
  • Romantic relationships
  • Social media and technology
  • Self-esteem
  • Grief and loss

Please contact me for a free consultation or to set up an appointment. Teens and young adults are encouraged to reach out!
