My goal is to help you feel more balanced, grounded, and to live with more ease & authenticity.
My approach is compassionate, nurturing and direct. I believe that effective therapy involves meeting life's difficulties with curiosity, kindness, gentleness, and sometimes a little humor. Our sessions will be engaging and conversational. As someone who practices integrative therapy, I blend elements from various therapeutic approaches to foster a personalized experience that supports your unique needs. This is grounded in my ongoing education in: - Client-Centered Therapy - Relational Therapy - Positive Psychology - Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) - Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) - Cognitive Therapy - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) - Mindfulness-Based Behavior Change I meet with individual clients ages 18+ who are sorting through various challenges that may arise in a lifetime. I also have a few specialties: - Young Adults (ages 18-30) - Disordered Eating - Mindfulness Practices All races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, religions, body sizes and abilities are valued and welcomed in my therapy practice. I'm based in San Francisco, but through telehealth (video and phone sessions), I'm able to support clients anywhere in California. I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #80562 with over 20 years of experience providing therapy services to adult and young adult clients.
I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis on addictions and mental disorders from the University of California, San Diego. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on health psychology from Santa Clara University.
