My goal is to help you feel more balanced, grounded, and to live with more ease & authenticity.
My approach is compassionate, nurturing and direct. I believe that effective therapy involves meeting life's difficulties with curiosity, kindness, compassion, and sometimes a little humor. Our sessions will be engaging, conversational, and tailored to you. I'm based in San Francisco, but through telehealth (video and phone sessions), I'm able to support clients anywhere in California. I meet with individual clients ages 18+ who are sorting through various challenges that may arise in a lifetime. I also have a few specialties: - Young Adults (ages 18-30) - Disordered Eating - Mindfulness Practices All races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, religions, body sizes and abilities are valued and welcomed in my therapy practice. I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #80562 with over 20 years of experience providing therapy services to adult and young adult clients.
I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis on addictions and mental disorders from the University of California, San Diego. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on health psychology from Santa Clara University. As part of my professional development, I seek ongoing training and continuing education opportunities. I feel incredibly passionate about this work, and am humbled by the people with whom I get to connect in the therapy space. Contact me to schedule a free phone consultation.
